Engaged Buddhism & Climate Change

The Washington Buddhist Peace Fellowship is mindful of and has compassion for the suffering of all people and all other beings world-wide.

Local and global harm and social injustice are caused by and exacerbated by Global Climate Change, which is caused by inexorable Global Warming, which is driven by ever increasing greenhouse gas emissions.

The WBPF is developing information resources, trainings, activities and public actions to facilitate each of us making our own choices for personal and community engagement to reduce Global Warming and Climate Change, as a way to reduce local and global harm and social injustice.

One focus is Mindful Consumption and Mindful Eating.
